I hope you all enjoyed your Monday off and truly reflected on what a great man Martin Luther King Jr was and what he did for the people of our country. This week we finish off the geography of Africa. Tuesday will be Africa's ethnic groups, Wednesday will be environmental issues, Thursday will be review day, and Friday will be test day!
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week we will be in the computer lab completing a webquest about various African geography standards. Thursday we will take our vocabulary and mapping quiz and have student presentations from the webquest activity.
Welcome back from break! I hope you all had a restful vacation and are ready to move on to Africa. We will begin on Tuesday with a Pre-Assessment, Wednesday will be our first day of vocabulary, Thursday will be mapping Africa, and Friday will be day two of vocabulary.

Schedules will be odd due to IOWA Testing, but the plan is to finish up the Ottoman Empire and Israel on Monday and then begin learning about the Persian Gulf War, Invasion of Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom from Tuesday-Friday.
